"Beyond grateful! Cannot thank them enough! Having been turned away from another garage and rocked up without a booking the second day after new year, car dripping diesel from the engine, I had expected the garage to say no sorry we are too busy, which they were. However, having explained that we (my wife and baby) were on our way to catch a ferry back home to France the owner himself jumped up from his seat and said he would come and have a look, though no promises and highly unlikely to be able to do anything there and then. Well, contrary to that he himself fetched a ratchet set and proceeded to not only find but fix the diesel leak methodically and meticulously. Once he had started I could see he was determined to fix the problem and help us. My wife, one year old and I cannot thank him enough for his warm hearted kind, caring, generosity and good conversation. Without his help we would have been genuinely stuck for who knows how long and missed the ferry and doesn’t bear thinking about. As it is we are now safe home in France and just wanted to say a huge huge thank you for saving us! The humbling thing was that he wasn’t even going to charge us!! What more can I say. Cannot recommend highly enough!"
