"Be aware of any MOT minor advisories that this company give you. They will not explain the details of these and will try and trick you into thinking the repair work is needed immediately. They also gave me quotes after my MOT for repair work that was significantly higher than a later quote that I got from the same company/branch through an online car quoting website."

"I had visited Formula One Autocentres in Woodford Green once or twice before and had no issues. Last week my car failed an MOT as apparently my right rear wheel bearing was making a noise when rotated. Upon getting the results, I know I needed my car urgently and so booked in a repair with the person at the desk for the following week (a same day appointment was unavailable). Today upon taking my car at the agreed time, a new person at the desk (supposedly the first person’s supervisor) tells me that my car was not booked in for a repair at that time but for an MOT re-test. I told him that I specifically told his colleague at the desk last week that I would NOT be able to drop my car off in the morning that day as I had to use it, but apparently his colleague's notes said I was going to drop it off in the morning for a repair. Because of this worker's incapacity to write down true and honest notes, I am now out of pocket and without a car (my MOT has since expired). The supervisor told me there was nothing he could do as he could only go by his colleague's notes. He offered no solution to the problem that a member of his team had quite evidently caused. Look elsewhere if you want a reliable service. A neighbouring garage fixed it in less than an hour, no fuss made."

"Very poor experience indeed. Their online booking system took my MOT reservation knowing the model of car to be tested. I arrived at the appointed time to be told that their equipment was too small to accommodate my car, so a wasted afternoon having to wait up to a week for a refund and then had to find another company to carry out the MOT. Just glad I hadn't booked in a service as well!!"

"My elderly father took his car in for a service. They advised him that the alignment was out and charged him for it when it was perfectly fine and they also said the battery is on its way out. Battery has never given any issue at all! Avoid Formula 1, liars and cheats."

"Tyre was fitted to the wrong wheel, my wife didn't check and the garage refuse to do anything when I went in. They said they fitted it where requested- no. That my wife watched them do it and didn't say anything- no. And she was given paperwork confirming what had been done and didn't check- no. Apparently all customers are give paperwork as they leave- what they actually said was it was pre paid and would be emailed - still not recieved. They wouldn't do anything to meet even half way as apparently ' they don't make any money on the tyres only on other work they get the customer to have done when the tyres are fitted' so beware Shame you can't give zero stars for poor service and ' the customer is always wrong attitude'"
