"I spoke to Evan and I had 2 separate consultations with him regarding obtaining a family remain visa and it did not require me to go to appeal to the High Court in order to obtain it which is what Evan advised would happen. I got it via the Home Office decision and it was not as hard as Evan led me to believe. In hindsight, considering the advice he gave me it made me feel very deflated about the system and he portrayed my case as extremely difficult if not impossible to obtain the visa. The legal firm who represented my case were on the contrary very hopeful and gave me clear instructions about how they would proceed in the case and provided me with useful comparisons of similar cases they had worked on and the positive but also realistic outcome of these. I just wanted to provide this feedback because in light of how my case turned out the advice given by Evan was more dire and negative than my actual experience with the immigration system.
