"Pleasant hotel. Staff are friendly and attentive. Large walk in shower which I much prefer compared to shower over a bath and a large comfortable bed. Nice swimming pool free to use for guests is a nice extra too. Quality of food/cooking could be better, whether that’s dinner or breakfast, particularly given the price of it."

"Different experience compared with our last stay. Receptionist was warm and welcoming. My daughter and I were woken by a group of people between 4am - 5am while we needed to get up at 5.45am. They were chatting in the corridor right by our room... clearly, they were excited about their day ahead. Spoke to receptionist about the disturbance later in the day. Sadly, we didn’t find receptionist Hayley very helpful. She was merely saying there was a couple of rooms booked around us.. as if there shouldn’t be a problem?! No empathy whatsoever. Contrast to the lovely receptionist served us during our last stay. Gym serves the purpose. Food isn’t bad. Not decent night sleep so far (we have one more night) Service can be improved."

"We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly & close to the family we were visiting. We had a superior twin room which was huge, the beds were huge too & comfy, which was great. However the room was cold on arrival. We had to ask someone from reception to show us how to get the heating going, they quickly did & once on it worked very well. Our room was on the front of the hotel which is on a busy road so traffic noise was quite noticeable. Our coffee machine didn't work, disappointing for my husband but there was a kettle so not really a problem. There was an impressively huge selection for breakfast, it was tasty BUT the plates we had to use were cold, a pet hate of mine, hot food, cold plate = lukewarm food! The only complaint really was the awful music. I love music but it was too much, too early! We will stay again but will request a quiet room."

"Wonderful experience went there for our wedding anniversary for three nights. My wife loved it so that means I did too . Clean very welcoming great atmosphere. Nice food. All staff extremely pleasant and polite friendly and very committed to great service. We would definitely go there again."
