Reviews
"Millennium Gallery is an arts and crafts museum in Sheffield that features permanent and temporary exhibitions, the former mostly devoted to the city's long and distinguished history on decorative and industrial silverware production. The temporary exhibit during my latest visit (February 2023) was a somewhat broadly defined collection of national and international paintings on the relationship between artists and the sea. Interesting enough, certainly in combination with the permanent collection and the adjacent Winter Gardens. Entry is free, photography is allowed. Just a five-minute walk from Sheffield Station, it's definitely worth a visit when you're in town."
"Enjoyed the displays about Sheffield and other metalwork. Also a current display of football related art. Access through the winter gardens, which contains tropical plants and the Sheffield shop. All free entry."
"Interesting arts, craft and design gallery in the centre of Sheffield and beside the Winter Garden. There's a great exhibition on metalwork and the steelwork that made Sheffield famous. They have a cafe, shop, toilets and hold events like tours and life drawing. It's a relatively small gallery, but worth the visit."
