"This is the second time I have had furniture rejected by the driver.Only for other charities to accept. I had a lovey 1950's solid wood shappy chic dresser with mirror refused by the driver because it was painted. When ringing to see if they wanted it & arrange collection the volunteers should have a list by the phone of what is excepted or what is not. This question should have been asked along with any other reasons the driver is likely not to take it. A sofa was refused prior to this, it had a fire label, we said the arms were a bit worn, but with a cover it was in good condition. They said they wanted it, only for the driver to say they wouldnt take it. I will not be donating to bhf again and will tell others that other charities are more reliable and do not waste your time."
"The delivery men are very rude and in a rush.I was promised by the shop that they would definitely move my old chair outside, but when they arrived they didn't try and didn't want to take 5 minutes to do as the store promised.I would have given them a tip for doing so.They might be overworked, but a promise by the store means a lot.now I won't use them or recommend them, being as they lied."
"I've visited this store a few times and they tend to have nice furniture items. I've purchased a few items from here, and the staff in the shop were really friendly and helpful. They delivered the items within two days, and the delivery staff were polite and handled the items with care."
"They have to focus on customers than their internal discussions. Volunteers should be happier to serve customers."
"We have brought a lot of furniture from this store all the staff ( especailly Simon) were really helpful nothing was to much trouble"
