"Having bad experience with S,C,S,problem,s with my two, two seater sofas after care didn't, want to know. Sofas less than 12,months old,colour fading,had two inspections they said this was normal for that material.we was not told this on purchase,they are not interested ,told us there is nothing more they can do,scs you are rip off merchants con men,done me out of 3,ooo grand ,happy with yourself con men"
"The sponge on our corner sofa has basically disintegrated. Has no shape left in it and the material of the safa has lots of bobbling . Sofa isnt even half paid off yet and the extra warrenty they sell you is useless on anything other than a stain."
"We ordered our original sofa's just under a year ago. Now we are waiting for the 3 suite to arrive as the passed 2 have both been damaged before we go it. I've been told that ScS do NOT offer compensation in anyway at all, not even free delivery on the new items. I have asked about a refund & been told that if I took that option they would collect my current sofa's straight away. So I wouldn't have anything to sit on while waiting for sofa's from a different company. Don't just think twice but 4 or 5 times before using this company."
"I have decided to edit my review as I was very angry when I wrote it, but can still only give 1* unfortunately. We ordered a suite and that all went well and was delivered on time. The problem arose when the carpet delivered was incorrect and we were left for several weeks with no carpet as in the photos. The communication at SCS has changed to a central system at head office so they eventually answer the phone calls but just pass it back to the store. The store are unable to tell you anything so they just don't bother getting back to you. It seems the carpets are ordered on the system to await a fitter which can take as long as 6 weeks despite the supplier having the carpet in stock. Instead of being transparent and telling you this they say the carpet is out of stock! I know this as I rang the supplier Customer Service myself. When something goes wrong you are put to the back of the list rather than being a priority as it should be if you give good customer service. As we paid in full it was very difficult to get a reasonable answer or a refund and it wasn't until we turned to social media that things changed and they agreed to a full refund as I was told by Trading Standards I was entitled to as they had broken the contract. My concerns having read many of the 1* reviews are that SCS is ok until something goes wrong and and I feel for the people who don't have social media and can only use a phone. My feeling is SCS need to reconsider their customer service and maybe move it back to the store as they are expected to deal with customers but seemingly have no power. The whole experience was horrendous and gave me many frustrating days and sleepless nights. We were so looking forward to having a new lounge and SCS robbed us of this. They said on many occasions it wasn't on purpose but it actually was or they would have done something sooner."
