"Driver turned up late, meaning we were running late for a booking in town. He then took a detour to get petrol while we were in the car making us even later still. I could see he had 1/4 tank before refuelling, so he should have waited until after he'd dropped us off. Cost twice the price of an Uber."

"Do not waste your time and money by using this firm. Had a booking in Manchester to get to. Tried to get an Uber but couldn’t so tried Call a Car. They said taxi would be 15 mins at most, so we knew we would be late for our booking which was pushed back 10 mins. 35 mins later the taxi arrived, the time of our booking. Rather than taking the direct route of the East Lancs to city centre from Leigh, we proceeded through Astley which was backed up. This is a metered cab so asked why that why as we were already late - soon discovered it was because he wanted to go to the petrol station to fill up with petrol if we didn’t mind. We said we did as we were already late give his late he arrived and had an hour’s booking we were going to miss. He ignored us and stopped anyway. He already had a quarter of a tank which would easily do city centre and back, put another quarter of a tank in and then eventually headed to east lancs. He drove as slow as possible, had no idea where he was going and went all round the house to deliberately rack up the fee and made us miss our entire booking. Journey cost us a whopping £35, £18 more than Uber was quoting but had none available. We lost £14 for the booking we had made and missed on top. Most expensive trip to the city centre ever, extremely unprofessional and will never be using this firm again"

"The girl on the desk told me they had a car immediately, 15 mins later I was still waiting on my own in the dark. I was only 3 minutes away from the office. I phoned another taxi and cancelled and the other taxi arrived 3 minutes from me booking it.They should not tell people they are coming straight away if they are not going to"

"Do not use!! Especially for pick up from airport. Left us stranded . I tried calling both driver and office no one would pick up. After 2.5 hours we called an uber who was there within 3 mins. I received a text over 3.5 hours later stating no passenger yes because you let us down early morning so made other arrangements. Do not use"
