"I was recruited last Feb2019 by a person called Harrison and Sanah. Sanah has been lovely. Everything was okay until I got to China. I was put in a school called Global IELTS in GaoYou and it was fine-ish at the start. You could see that although the boss needed foreign teachers, he was reluctant to pay them. So whenever payments or money issues rose, like medical care, providing and repairing bikes for transport, even paying your salary, were very hard for him to do. Then, towards the end of my contract, I asked for reimbursement of flight tickets and everything Raising ltd had promised I’d get, my boss refused to pay. I had to leave GaoYou because of the pandemic and my boss refused to pay me my last salary. It’s mid- June now, I left the country early February. Raising Ltd would not lift a finger to help me get my money. Since my boss had always been greedy, I excepted that he’d not pay me any of my reimbursement but all I’ve been asking him to pay is my salary for January. He has refused. Raising Ltd refused to confront him and even advised me that they were still sending innocent English natives to him. I’m appalled that such a company exists in the UK and is allowed to stay open. Raising Ltd, I think that since you recruit for such a backwards unbelievably awful school, you should take responsibility."
