"I have been here for my Microsoft exam recently, the invigilator was very rude (not friendly at all), he behaved more like investigator rather than making you feel comfortable for the exam. I would definitely not book any exam here in future and recommend the same."
"Used to be a great college now all they do are tests and exams and whoever has taken over is awful. Jobsworth rule makers! Like everything else in the uk. Rubbish!"
"It's funny reading the other reviews. I've been coming here on/off for 10 years. I don't think anything has changed in that time. The guy doing the proctoring is a major jobsworth. When I was filling in my form he incessantly kept repeating 'Sir, please sit down' because I was filling the form standing up. I'd just pulled my back and wanted to avoid sitting down, knowing I was about to be sat down for an hour in the exam. He kept on repeating it and repeating it. I kept on ignoring him and ignoring him, telling him "No I want to stand". He just wouldn't accept it. The computers look like they belong in a museum. The toilets are similar to ones you see on a building site. Having said that, they're the best place for availability and its not hard to get to. There's a convenient Costa Coffee next door for a quick pre-exam refresh!"
"The exam room is really dated, computers are worn out. The exam invigilator is not very friendly, he is rude and enters the exam room very frequently which is really distracting! Not sure if you need to review exam time slots, it would be better if all people enter the room at the same time. The place needs an invigilator with warm personality as the testing room is cold itself!"
"If you're in the Manchester area and are looking to take a certification exam this place is conveniently located about half a mile or so outside the city centre. It's on the first floor of a Safestore building and getting there is fairly easy - either park in the Safestore car park or catch a bus from the city centre (the 135 stops just outside the building.) Inside it's a bit rough and ready. The interior of the building is a bit grotty (especially the toilets!) and the testing centre is in a similar state. There are lockers for your stuff (you keep the key during your exam) and the testing room is comfortable enough. There are ear defenders on each testing station if you feel it is a bit noisy, but I didn't need them myself. The centre seems to have one employee and he's friendly and helpful. Stars knocked off just for the appearance of the place really - a lick of paint a bit of a tidy up would make a world of difference."
