Reviews
""Deaf inst" has been a firm favourite of mine since I first arrived in Manchester 11 years ago. It is a staple of the Oxford Road scene and hosts really excellent live music. Some of my favourite gigs have been here including Jenny Owen Youngs and most recently the amazing The Deep Blue, an indie-folk vocal harmony extravaganza. It was great to come back to this celebrated venue after the height of the pandemic, although I believe it changed owners due to lockdown. I hope to come back for many more excellent gigs in the future."
"Great small venue with the added bonus of a decent Indian restaurant inside. Part of Manchester's musical history."
"Brilliant venue for gigs and live music. After the gig there is Late night music on by artists such as Clint Boon. 2 different bars. Great place. Open til 3am on Saturday morning."
"Great little venue, holds around 200 in an old style theatre setting. Some bench seats at the back and an odd fishtank looking viewing balcony. Going a little shabby in places but that kinda adds to the charm of the place. Only go if you like the up close and personal experience."
"Went to a concert with a friend. Very cozy vibe, fab staff. Their foods are tasty with good price. A lot of vegan foods available and the menu is playing with words - very interesting! The upper floor for the show is not big but quite enough for you to have fun. They even have a little balcony above the stage! You can stay super close to the band/players and the view from the balcony is pretty good."
