But when it came to the worktop guys to fit the top ..nightmare of my life. I would let the pictures speak for itself. The attitude of the 4 man team was so arrogant i wouldn't let them in my house again.. I raised a complaint to the depot and they have come back to me stating i have signed the paper work for all ok and cant do anything about it. I would suggest NO BODY to go to this place or any other howdens branch for what they do to !!! Absolute disgrace to the industry. Decide for yourself see the pictures."

"Had our kitchen designed by Adnan, (recommended by our builder even though there were branches closer to home) he was very patient, knowledgeable and tweaked our design until we were 100% happy. A few doors were missing on delivery but this was resolved quickly and could collect the doors same day. Also changed my mind on the sink we had delivered and they swapped it to another with no issues. Overall so pleased with the quality and layout of our kitchen!"

"Be prepared to be scammed by the Hounslow branch of Howdens. I went in to discuss the purchase of a new kitchen. At the time, the designer, Adnan, mentioned that the installation of kitchen units and quartz worktop were all included in the price. The only extra to be paid was for delivery which was fine by us. At the point of payment, they suddenly went back on their word and said that only the installation of the quartz worktop was free and that we had to pay for fitters of the kitchen units. My partner and I were both shocked as they had previously mis-sold saying that all of the installation of kitchen units and worktop was free. But reluctantly, we paid for the kitchen units on 10th May 2022 thinking the quartz worktop would be installed by Howdens for free as confirmed by both Mo (Deputy Manager) and Adnan many times in front of me and my partner. At the point of payment, they only gave the debit card receipt and not the full detailed invoice giving the breakdown of the units. After several calls to Howdens and Adnan to send me the detail, the detailed breakdown was only emailed to me on 13th May 2022. To our surprise and horror, it had a fitting charge included of £500+VAT. When we challenged this charge, Mo denied all knowledge and repeatedly denied that he and Adnan confirmed on many occasions that the quartz worktop installation was free. I cannot fathom how, especially with witnesses around including my partner, they could blatantly lie and deceive their customers. The story does not end there. They charged my Company account without my explicit permission. I have evidence of how I challenged them on this and even asked Mo (Deputy Manager) if this was normal for Howdens to charge client accounts without permission to which he responded that "it is". I have evidence of these conversations with Mo including all the excuses he gave as to why they charged my company account without my permission. In addition to this, I have evidence of Mo asking me to pay another £152.80+VAT based on an "Estimate" rather than an "Invoice" for an aborted templating charge when he had previously said the cost was £130+VAT. I have evidence of this. Another issue was that their designer, Adnan, made mistakes in his measuring which meant that the quartz worktop was too small to cover the area promised. When I challenged them on this, Mo asked me to pay almost another £300 for another piece of worktop. I refused as I said that I could not cough up more money for mistakes made by Howden's designer. To this day, despite £500+VAT being charged for fitting (which they said was free), my kitchen is not complete in line with what was agreed with Mo and Adnan. Be careful of such conmen who are willing to deceive and blatantly lie to customers. For any future customers, I recommend that you record your conversations as they go back on their word each time. Luckily I have kept evidence and will be taking my grievance up with Howdens Head Office."
