"***STORE IS CLOSING AND NOT ORDERING NEW MEDICATIONS IN*** I was told last week this store is to close in July when I enquired about the sign that was up, so when I ordered my med's from my GP they sent it to here as usual and (more than 10hours later) I was notified ready to collect. Upon arriving at the counter I was given one of two items and told I'd have to go elsewhere for the other as they are closing so are not ordering anything in anymore. Not sure why they would close a pharmacy in such a prime location.... Oh wait, it's cos they were always slow and disorganised, but some people still used them as it's still kinda convenient (I mean, you have to get a prescription, might as well grab some food whilst you're at it). I really hope someone more competent steps into the void. There used to be some decent people working here, but they never seemed to last long and the last couple of years this place has been sliding further downhill at a steady pace."
"I ordered my prescription 2 days ago. Turned up to collect today with no medication left and was told it was closing so they weren’t doing anymore orders and didn’t have my medication in. Wasn’t given anything to go to another pharmacy just sorry and on your way. I don’t understand how there can be store closures when people have ordered their prescriptions without any kind of comms going out to let people know. Now I’m having to nominate a new pharmacy and hope that I can get it tomorrow otherwise I am going to be feeling really unwell all weekend. I just feel bad for people that aren’t able to use the NHS online service to do what I have, they might end up really unwell because of this severe lack of communication. Absolutely terrible service, we should have been told this at the point of ordering, if not, at least we shouldn’t have had to turn up to be told this without any resolution from the pharmacy. Very disappointed."
"The India guy who was working today, Sunday December 18th is extremely rude. I saw him dismiss several people while I was waiting in the queue. I went in to collect a repeat prescription which had been ready for over a week but I never received a notification of this. I rang the pharmacy and spoke to a guy who confirmed this and also guaranteed that I didn’t need to pay since I was collecting a repeat prescription. I get there and this Indian guy is rudely questioning me on how I know that they have my prescription…when he finally decided to listen and take my details he then came back with my repeat prescription and demanded to know why I’m exempt from paying. I explained over and over again abs even told him I had phoned to double check and he literally refused to listen, embarrassing me completely."
"The worst pharmacy I have ever used. As this was highly local and linked with my GP I used this branch. I am very forgiving with supply issues etc. but this branch appears to be a clown staff room. Consistently getting items wrong, missing items, not ordering items, telling customers to come back the next day and the the next and (on 3 occasions) only ordering it on the 3rd attendance. The staff are rude and ignorant, often hiding behind the corner in dispensary, ignoring customers waiting. This branch feels like it’s run by work experience kids.. no, actually they would do better. I was handed someone else’s insulin the other day and had to argue that it wasn’t mine…shocking. Avoid. The ease of being in Sainsbury’s does not balance out the ineptitude."
"Nominated as my pharmacy to collect prescriptions, yet each time I have gone in to collect they act as if you're being unreasonable by collecting your prescription there. There is an young lady in particular who was very rude to me. Through the MYGP app I had placed an order, which had been issued and my GP said they should have it sent over to them. I was there for around 1 hour and 2 minutes while this young woman kept saying things like "I can't magic your medication, they won't come any quicker" or she says that the computer keeps switching off which was incredibly condescending and she told me that they did in fact already have the medication on site. In the end it turned out that my previous GP had not unregistered me but they did so promptly and sent the information over, yet this young lady just kept cutting me off and telling me to go to my old pharmacy and re-register, that it's "only up the road, it's easy" even though it's 1 hour away. In the end I did travel to my other pharmacy who sorted it in 5 minutes max, re-registering me, finding my prescription, and un-registering me again. I am appalled by the lazy, rude young lady who tends the counter here and the second-rate service I received. They have lost my custom."
