"my local WELL PHARMACIST in Paignton Corner Place constantly mess up my repeat prescriptions. I am getting worried because in the wrong hands Morphine is a controlled drug which users will pay for on the black market. I get Oral morph and Zomorph every two weeks but so far they have lost 3 prescriptions for Zomorph with no explanation. I am going to raise a complaint with Well Head Office and the Governing body of Chemists. I wouldn't mind but there is 5 staff and 2 Pharmacists working everyday so they have no reason to lose peoples prescriptions . Take my advice and don't use Well chemists use Boots or a non chain chemists."
"Awful as at December 2022. Two Well pharmacies in Halstead Essex, both in critical state of short staffing and medicine shortages. Average waiting time, standing outside, in Surgery carpark is around 2 hours, often to then be told medication not available, including automatic repeat prescriptions. People will die directly as a result of this breakdown!"
"The Wells pharmacy let me down badly on several occasions!! They were constantly having to order important pain killing medicines, with a promise of next day delivery, which didn't always happen. I have two branches in my town and neither could provide the medicines needed to set up a syringe driver for an end of life Cancer patient. Disgusting, as Boot's fulfilled them on the same day. Shame on you Well Pharmacy!!!"
"Shocking! My GP sent over a prescription electronically to a branch in Northenden this morning. I went to collect it, only to be told that it had not arrived but, if I gave them my NHS number, they could track it using that. Despite repeatedly telling the pharmacist that I don't know my NHS number off by heart and I don't carry it around with me, she kept asking for it and then looked at me, blankly. I went back to my GP, got the electronic number and my NHS number and took both back to the pharmacy. Not a word of explanation or apology from this joke of an outfit."
