Reviews
"Awful company and dangerous drivers. I was it by one of their coaches reg S1L1893. After initially stopping, the driver waited until I was walking over to the coach before driving away at a stupid speed down Shay Lane in Hale Barns. Elite now trying to dispute it with my insurance, so not only are the drivers dangerous, the company is dishonest too."
"Unlucky enough to be in a coach with 5 seats across. The seats aren't big enough for an adult. The toilet is minging and the air con not turned on whilst we all sat on the coach. A really awful end to a great cycle to Blackpool."
"Like many others, if I could have given zero stars I would have. I started using the school bus service in 2021 and have been really shocked at the lack of care and consideration shown for children and parents in delivery of this service. They are constantly in breach of contract, making decisions for the good of the company finances rather than children's safety or well-being. Drivers using foul language, bullying behaviour from children on the buses that isn’t dealt with properly and changing timetables and stops on a whim that means children are delivered to school late. I can see reviews from four years ago that say the same. They won’t change and don’t care about improving as they have the monopoly on school transport and parents like us don’t have other options so are forced to use them. Please do consider carefully before using this company, protect your sanity and well-being and AVOID them. I wish I had considered these reviews before signing a contract for services."
"Ok, let's do this one more time; a semi-comphrehensive, easy to understand review of Elite. Especially applicable to Route A. Good things - 1) The drivers are all cool guys - thanks for stopping off at the kulshi the past 4-5 years. 2) Sometimes they were forced to give us decent buses when the ones they usually gave us broke down. 3) Usually punctual, unless it was Friday or a term end where they'd always be late. 4) The irony of their name. Bad Things - 1) Their buses are literally falling apart, especially the yellow double decker. Also, some are just so terrible that if you put your bag anywhere after its been raining, it'll be soaked through. 2) It's not only cheaper but also probably safer just to use public buses. I doubt they break down as frequently; 4 times in one term is too much, especially when its the same bus and you somehow manage to 'repair' it in less than 8 hours just for it to break 1 week later. 3) You'll randomly be forced to present a bus pass - thanks Sam Nixon -that you'll have never had to use before - quite literally after 7 years I only had to use it once, in the last year. 4) The website is just bad - seriously come on, its 2019, not 1999. Also please, for the love of god correct "Elite relies on late bookings ... and sells them at the last minute", it just hurts to read it. 5) James never got to experience Route A without Ali."
