"Went to pay for my items and the man at the till was talking to someone else the whole time. Asked if I wanted a bag and I said no but didn’t fold my clothes and just shoved a receipt on top of the pile. I had to reach over and fold my clothes and put them in my bag and I left without him speaking to me at all."
"This store will overcharge you more than what’s on the price tag!!! Please be aware of this! Not sure on the legality of this. Wanted to buy a top that showed up as 12.99€. Once the lady on the toll scanned it, it came up as £15.99 I told her that the price is wrong, and if converted from euros to pounds, it would be £11.40. It wouldn’t be an extra £3 more. Manager (very short blonde hair with glasses) then told me that because of “Brexit” and because of import and transportation costs, I’d need to pay extra? I have never in my life heard of something like this in any retail store. It’s bizarre for me to be charged extra because of brexit? What even? In the end, bought the top as I liked it. However I was charged more than what was shown on the price tag which doesn’t seem legal."
"Staff were quite friendly, but their male clothing section was poor. Only a couple racks at the back and it wasn't marked as the male section. The shop was a decent size so I expected a little more otherwise it was fine."
"I went to this store recently and wanted a top in a size small. They only had one available but it had a makeup stain on it. I noticed a mannequin had the top I wanted in the size I needed. I went to the counter and asked if they could either sell me the top at a reduced price or give me the top on the mannequin. They wouldn’t reduce it so the gentleman serving me asked what I assume is his boss if he could take the top off display. She said no because apparently she would then have to ‘steam it’ and that’s too much effort. I’ve worked in retail and I can’t count how many times I took apart a mannequin to give a customer a piece of clothing. So I was very disappointed. Great clothes, good workers but horrible management."
