"I had intended to buy a Sweater, bearing in mind the kind of prices they charge you would think they could have managed a "good day" and shown some interest in the only person in their shop! I hate to call it a boutique; as that would suggest some sort of service! Once there, (they don't open until 11.00 so I had to go and have a coffee and read the paper for an hour and a half and then go back to this shop) I was taken by their shirts and would have bought one to match the Sweater and their range of matching trousers would have been an additional buy! I have to use a walking stick to get around and was having difficulty in holding it and juggling items, looking for sizes etc. The staff just seemed interested in talking to each other and not assisting a customer. Since they couldn't even bother to show any interest in me I decided I couldn't be bothered to spend several hundred pounds on a winter outfit! I have taken my custom elsewhere, where it is appreciated! A Julia Roberts moment! (Pretty Woman shopping experience) As an experienced retailer of many years I hardly know where to start with their appalling lack of customer service and lack of interest! Presumably they don't need the custom?"
"Trying to find ethically, sustainable shops in London is hard. Trust me, I'm trying to map them. Murray stocks about 75% eco/sustainable. I popped in to look for a scarf, and only found a few that weren't to my style, so they opened up 3 new boxes of future stock, and found the perfect one. So not only ethical but the service is great too!"
