Reviews
"Went to the store yesterday around 3-4pm and wasn’t impressed by the two staffs. The ground floor had strong smell of food, like biryani or cumin curry. The staffs were complaining about other customers in front of me of how they perhaps misplaced some items in the shop. One staff looked indifferent to help and when I asked about how to use a hair accessory, she said arrogantly to make her look superior."
"TERRIBLE CONDESCENDING CUSTOMER SERVICE - GO ELSEWHERE! I wish I had taken heed of the negative reviews about this store before visiting. I’ve spent thousands on Free People online over the years, and love the aesthetic but the service I received yesterday was unpleasant at best. It breaks my heart to write this review as I so wanted to love the experience. I went downstairs when the shop wasn’t too busy and was followed my a member of staff. This was fair as I was the only one down there and it was sensible to have a member of staff with customers. The staff member huffed and puffed and looked like she didn’t want to be there and I, the customer was inconveniencing her. I asked if they stocked something I had seen online and she rather condescendingly told me to go to urban outfitters. I was disgusted busy her tone and put back the coat I was considering buying and left. I never leave bad reviews but this experience is enough to stop me buying from Free People."
"Very disappointing! Both staff that were working today at the convert garden store were unpleasant and very unprofessional, one of them was telling people that the stains/ marks on the cloth were the design of the dress! They don’t only had bad attitude towards their customers, they also looked down at people with their tone and words. Their bad vibes and energy don’t really match the brand name “Free people”, maybe ‘Racist People’ works better for this particular branch. Such a shame! I would not want to visit there again."
"Beautiful store with the loveliest staff. Everyone was very friendly. Katy was extremely helpful! Checking in, getting me other sizes, making suggestions..but not in a pushy way. I spent more than I normally would have, but it felt worth it for the level of service I received. Definitely will be shopping here again!"
"I went in this shop yesterday and had been excited to go into the actual store instead of shopping online. I usually enjoy looking around Covent Garden but the experience that I had in the Free People there was seriously unpleasant. When I walked in, there was no acknowledgement or welcome; and while trying an item on in the shop floor, the shop assistant didn't look too pleased. She looked as if she was waiting for me to leave. I have never experienced this in a shop before and I am confident in saying that I will not go in there again in the future."
