"pretty and the clothes are good quality however I was honestly quite surprised by the attitude of staff and general atmosphere. my usual go-to brandy is the one in Covent Garden, so prior to this experience I'd always thought that rumours about brandy's snobby staff were exaggerated- until I came here. this is the first time I have ever felt so uncomfortable in a clothing store. the staff were cold and dismissive- one memory that I will keep in my mind forever is the unmistakably judgemental stare of one member of staff when they saw that I had returned all the pieces I had tried on. surely this is not a way to treat anyone, let alone a customer? I don't usually like to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience in this store has me completely floored."

"The clothes are cute but overpriced not to mention it is an extremely busy store with queues going all the way down the stairs for changing rooms and although the store is small, it is ram packed with too many clothes which can be quite suffocating. You’d be better off shopping online."

"I was really surprised by the horrible experience in the store. I wanted to try on clothes, I walked upstairs to the fitting rooms and the security lady checking my clothing items was very rude. I couldn't take my belt into the fitting room to try on, with no explanation at all. I wanted to show my boyfriend my outfits, and then he was told that he was not allowed to look in the fitting rooms. Staff is really rude, I almost thought it was a prank or something cause I couldn’t believe the behavior. A little later my curtain suddenly opened, it turned out one of the staff members did that. I was very shocked and they just didn't care at all. I said “excuse me” but didn’t get any reaction. It was a brunette girl, I recognized her from the staff a little later. When I wanted to pay I was barely looked at and the cashier was just chatting with a colleague and not paying any attention to me at all. I walked out of this store completely amazed, I've never ever had such a bad experience. I don't understand why this store is still open. Awful staff, it got me all annoyed. I'm definitely never going here again. Please don’t go here."

"i went in and was immediately followed around the shop by one of the security staff members. i’m mixed (black and white) but initially i thought he was just doing his job and thought nothing of it. after this i went up to try some things on. the changing room had female security on shift, but the curtains do not close properly and so i felt incredibly uncomfortable changing. i went outside my cubicle to the bigger mirror just outside and she completely stared me down. when i was done trying clothes on and handed my things over to her she immediately miscounted and accused me of stealing. who can’t count to six? the last straw was when i was leaving the store and got racially profiled for the THIRD TIME. the beepers went off when i was about a metre away from even exiting. the person who set the beepers off was not stopped, however i was stopped with a hand pulling my shoulder. they checked my bag and found nothing. because i’m not a thief, but clearly they assume every black person who walks in is going to steal. please if you go in, speak to management about this, there were three security guards involved, two men and one woman, i didnt get their names but they were all south asian."

"Great selection of basic clothes in a very neutral palette that would suit anyone. Quality seems pretty good for the price. Brandy is a bit of a controversial brand, and that's all the more apparent by who they hire. Some of the staff can be unfriendly and cliquey, making you feel like you're excluded from the popular girls table in school or something. This branch has no mirrors on shop floor apparently due to customers taking the piss. Not a good enough reason at all"
