"Kings Heath Quirky Comfort I love the style of the pubs in Moseley Village. The Station, located on its border carries the baton of beautiful quirky decor. Where else can you find the bust of a pink moose hung on the wall of a public house? At its heart The Station is a good old fashioned Brummie pub. The garden out back is accommodating, bright and cheerful. It was there I met a regular who swore that the Sunday Roast was out of this world. I ordered the Nut Roast. I mentioned I am a vegan. The staff accommodated and made amendments to the vegetarian offering. It was delivered up quickly. Given the extremely high standards set by eateries in Kings Heath, I was expecting THE BEST. Any other town, I would have been happy. Having visited Upstairs at Grace & James for their Sunday offering. The Stations Sunday Roast lacked the finer details to put a smile on my face. The Station offer a Vegan Dessert, the sweet Banoffee Waffle, recommended if you have a sweet tooth. All in, good value for money. Staff are salt of the earth. The period pub is beautiful. A great meeting place."
