Reviews
"We were actually heading for (and wandered into ) the two towers brewery as we thought they had a tap room, but we were kindly directed next door to the gunmakers were the beers could be tried. A very traditional pub and clearly popular with the locals, we even made friends with the pub cat."
"Excellent TAP HOUSE / BREWERY (2 Towers) Still going strong after there move here a few years ago It's not the best to get to & away from the popular areas but still worth a visit Brewery tours & brew days available with mark (founder / owner)"
"Away from town and a small place. 3 ales on not had before so was a nice change. Got busy as the night got on but left early. Lots of art around and a very unique bar. Highly recommend."
"Stopped for one night as the location was perfect for a night out in the Jewellery Quarter (10 minutes walk away). The room was basic but clean and comfortable - very good value for money for the price. Don't go there if you're expecting The Ritz! I didn't use the communal kitchen other than to make a cup of tea, but there are provisions there for a basic breakfast if you wish. The pub served excellent beers, brewed just behind it. It was a bit noisy when karaoke was going on, but that finished at a reasonable hour, so no problems with that. Staff very friendly and helpful."
"Friendly welcome, room was warm and clean, I stayed just over a week in February. It was a very simple yet cosy accommodation, the bathroom just refurbished. If I have to find something at the downside, I booked a room with breakfast, but I found myself having to manage the kitchen, not really "breakfast included" as a service, however, there was tea, instant coffee, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam and so on, if we exclude the washing up it was quite all right, therefore I gave 5 stars anyway. Would definitely go back."
