Reviews
"Distinctly average. Very disappointed after reading all the great reviews here - arriving at a pre booked table there were no pasties left, it took well over 30 min to put some lackluster and under-dressed and tasteless salads on a plate, in the smallest portions I have ever seen. The cake was dry and pastry was soggy, both were picked up with (gloved) hands rather than serving implements. Staff pleasant enough but no apology for how long it took to plonk some already-made salad on a plate. Whilst we were there they totally forgot another person’s order so it wasn’t an isolated event. Very disorganized, expensive and understaffed. Area out the back was messy and had deliveries strewn haphazardly around the back entrance. Didn’t bother complaining at the time as really didn’t feel they cared. A shame as the location is beautiful."
"Average salad, mostly different green leaves with a small amount of beetroot and goats cheese on the side. Seemed expensive for £7. Tried the salted caramel cake which was a nice idea but a bit dry. Staff were friendly and helpful and the building is lovely which are the plus points. Perhaps some of the other food is good, but on our table we each had a different salad and had a similar experience"
"A perfect venue. In a lovely setting. We had a surprise baby shower upstairs with afternoon tea. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend. A big thank you to all the staff."
