"I joined YOR dental when I made the move up to Manchester, working in MediaCity it's just a short trip to the practice. The practice itself is incredible, it's very calming with a modern spa like feel to the interior and the staff do everything the can to make you feel comfortable. The dentistry I've had whilst with Dharmesh has been top of the line. They introduce the latest dentistry equipment and procedures to keep up to date. This is reflected in the price, it is a private practice therefore you pay for what you receive. But all in all my teeth are in pretty good shape now from joining! "I just can't recommend YOR Dental enough... I booked in for a free consultation & the rest is history! I'm a very anxious patient & I have had a lot of problems with previous dentists meaning I was looking for a dental practice that could solve all my issues in the same place. "Dharmesh has transformed my smile. From being too embarassed to show my teeth, to never wanting to stop smiling. After 16 years with no dentist, I decided to look online for one and came across YOR Dental on Google. 5 years ago, before my first visit, I had really poor gum health, bordering gum disease, I had a hole in the middle on the front side of a tooth, and I had pain whenever I ate or drank something cold - even a cold wind would hurt. I first went to YOR Dental because I had been grinding my teeth in my sleep for a few weeks and was in constant pain. I was anxious about my first appointment, but at reception was made to feel very comfortable by the hard-working, professional and wonderful staff that greeted me. When I went in to see Dharmesh for the first time, I found him to be incredibly personable, approachable, informative, and honest. Seriously - he never stops smiling. Straight away I was told I needed a couple of fillings and although I hadn't seen a dentist in 16 years, it could have been worse. Fillings day came the following week, I was an hour late, but they still found time to see me, and again Dharmesh and the team were incredible with making it feel like I wasn't being rushed, even though they had patients after me and I was so late. Unfortunately for me, my wisdom tooth was too far back for a filling and Dharmesh informed it needed to be removed and he could actually do it later that day, so I waited in reception for a couple of hours, where I was given the WiFi code and given plenty of refreshments. Now, I was still new to having a dentist, however, Dharmesh was not new to having patients, and this showed in the following conversation: I have to say, the tooth extraction was as smooth as he promised, didn't hurt, cleaned well, and has been absolutely perfect since. Not a single issue. Since then, I have been back to YOR Dental dozens, if not more times over the last 12 months as I've had whitening, invisalign, and composite bonding done. Before Invaslign my bottom teeth were very crooked, had chips in them from me grinding my teeth, and my middle bottom one was lost behind another two so it looked like it was missing when I smiled. Invisalign with Dharmesh has pushed all my teeth in line, straightened them, and made my smile look more full and complete. When going through Invisalign treatment, Dharmesh helped me constantly with advising me on toothpaste, cleaning my retainers, best ways to floss, and when to use mouthwash. Before seeing Dharmesh, I had never flossed or used mouthwash, but now, thanks to him, I do both daily and my gums are now in "perfect health" - his words. Having finished my Invisalign, which Dharmesh guided me through, answering all my questions and taking the time to speak about any problems I was having, I decided to go ahead with composite bonding to complete my smile. The staff at reception told me "Dharmesh is a perfectionist" - exactly what I want from a dentist who is building my forever smile. The composite bonding lasted 2 and a half hours, which flew by because he allowed me to watch what I wanted on the TV - I chose Key and Peele compilations on YouTube, which honestly I would recommend to anyone having dental work done. During the process, Dharmesh was always speaking to me, letting me know what he was doing, when it would feel sensitive, when I may feel uncomfortable, and he let me take breaks when needed. The work he has done and the smile he has created for me is amazing and feedback I have received in just the last week include: "you're smiling a lot more" and "we get it, you got your teeth done, stop smiling so much." Before seeing Dharmesh, I was too embarassed to smile for photos and when with friends or at work, but now, I only want to smile. As a final note, to the hygienist, it's an horrific experience that I liken to medieval torture, but just like Dharmesh, she's helped to give me the smile I've always wanted.
