"I provided the owner, Damian, with a specific list of 7 jobs I wished him to undertake on my van. He had my vehicle for FOUR days, which we had agreed in advance. On collection day, I called him three times to arrange collection only to be told each time 'It will be ready in about an hour'. Eventually, at about 7pm, I decided to go to the garage as I needed my van for work in the early hours of the next morning. On arrival I found that he had conveniently left for the day and one of his mechanics was left with instructions not to release my van until I had paid the bill in full. On receipt of the bill, I found out why. He changed an ABS sensor and rear caliper at a cost of £375 neither of which I either requested or authorised him to do. I am in the process of taking legal action to recover my funds. Avoid this place at ALL costs. He only got 1 star because I had to give at least that. I should have read the reviews first !! Lesson learnt."

"The car lease company sent me a reminder to take my car for its first service. They sent me a list of approved places I could take it. This place was on the list. The cost was around half what the dealership down the road would charge. Great I thought. If it’s on the list of approved garages it can’t be that bad. Just less overheads etc. Well I’m ok with the fact it’s a bit grubby looking and customer service was a bit lacking but when I picked the car up all seemed ok which is the main thing. A great money saver I thought. Mind you the car was nearly new and had only done around 5,000 miles so what could be that wrong. Anyway all seemed ok till next time I was in very bad traffic. It was moving a cars length at a time for over an hour. Eventually the car started to smell of burning. A really strong odour. Ended up pulled over at the side of the road with the bonnet up for over an hour till the smell had gone and it had cooled enough to drive home. Obviously thought it was a major issue. Took the car to a main dealership thinking it would be something that needed sorting under warranty. Their conclusion was the coolant and oil were both well overfilled and that was the reason. They said a pretty basic error. Not my error as I’d not touched anything under the bonnet since Ds autos had serviced it. Now I’m not a mechanic, so I’m just repeating what they said and passing it on. But maybe, just maybe you don’t get something for nothing. Yeah I saved over a hundred quid going here, but I spent an hour and a half at the side of the road in the freezing cold and another afternoon without my car after taking it to the dealer to sort out, via the tram and walking and getting wet while doing so. So was that all worth saving a hundred quid. Personally I think next time it needs servicing I’ll pass."
"I got my car fixed for some tricky problems with EGR sensor / Throttle body and the Indicator stalk. It got fixed but took me to visit the garage multiple times which was a pain. But happy they fixed it finally. Thanks!"
"In your reply to your reply to my complaint, to set things straight : First of all it is correct that my appointment was for 9-15 but I was advised to be there for 8-45 by AA Smartcare Secondly, you would not be able to get access to my home because it has a lock on the door. Something you should consider for your gate I wouldn’t dream of wanting to use your garage even if I was welcome I honestly think you, the manager, is suffering from ‘Little Man’ syndrome This will be my final comment"
