"I waited over a week after ringing around several halfords,I managed to finally get an appointment. When the day finally came, the gentleman who served me had an attitude problem before i said a word to him. He looked bored before the day even started (8am). I took my car in for a diagnostic to be told 8 hours later that it can't be fixed there despite them being a garage and I would have to take it elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money here! If I could give a 0-star review, I would"

"While all the guys were helpful I went in with a slow puncture, I was told the wheel was tested and no puncture was found and I must’ve been tightening the valve cap too tight. Within 6 hours wheel flat again. Considered rebooking but no slots until the next day and I don’t fancy hanging around for up to an hour. Went to a local garage who found two nails. Repaired in 10 minutes."

"I took my car for a break test due to squeaky breaks, they called me up later that afternoon and informed me I required both front and rear break pad and disc replacement and two rear tyres on a car with 20,000 miles. Total bill £1400. I then took my car for a second opinion at a local specialist and he said the tyres and back break pads and discs were fine, it was just the front ones needing replacing at a cost of £350. Careful of these guys they try to upsell. Get a second opinion"

"Worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. The guy behind the desk had an attitude problem from the moment I walked in! I had booked a free repairs check (for an issue which the website said this check includes) for 8.30am - I had the confirmation email and text.. The man on the desk kept repeating ‘’it’s booked in for 4.20pm’’ despite me showing him my confirmation - ‘’I know your confirmation says that but my system doesn’t and we’re back-to-back today’’… absolutely no apology for wasting my time for what is clearly a Halfords system error. Also offered me zero options for a resolution - he basically seemed annoyed that I’d even entered the building. He then went on to tell me that the issue my car has isn’t even included in the check I booked (which isn’t what the website says). Rubbish customer service and a highly aggressive guy working on the front desk. This all happened whilst 4 mechanics stood and gawped at me - extremely intimidating situation for a young female to be in and I will never be using halfords services again."
