"I bought a few sale items, and decided to return them a couple of days later. They were unworn, fully tagged, untouched, fully packaged etc, many were not clothing items. Unfortunately they have a policy which they don't make clear that they will only refund sale items to a store card. The cashier couldn't point to anywhere around her till area where this was made clear. There was nothing on the receipt. The store manager could only point to one sign near the checkouts. Even then it was a footnote and not clear. I walked round the store and couldn't find anything else. I am aware that stores do this for final clearance items, but this wasn't the case, and they always make it clear. Matalan clearly hasn't done this, and can't be trusted."
