"This used to be our favourite coffee shop in Stockport. Disappointing now. It looks shabby. The carpet is dirty. They need to up their game. Stockport Underbanks is moving up, they will get left behind."
"Amazing and delicious caramel latte made here which comes in different sizes with perfect temperature and presented very neatly. I've been here several times and the service has never failed to disappoint with friendly staff members and always a bubbly atmosphere. Would strongly recommend going here as I got a free coffee for visiting a certain number of times!"
"Lovely place with nice decor. Staff are always friendly. Coffee and cakes are good. But… the tables aren’t wiped down properly and are sticky. The tables on the left as you enter are arranged in a line against the left wall and feel less cozy but more corridor. You feel a bit exposed and definitely not cozy when you’re sitting at those. I’m not sure why such a wide open space is needed. Plenty of room for queuing customers, people walking through, and slightly larger tables. We come to coffee shops for cozy vibes, not for a sticky fishbowl experience. Wouldn’t take much of a tweak to the tables and to your cleaning processes to sort this out. Otherwise, a nice place and I would bring family and friends here when the other more cozy Underbank cafes are closed."
"Nice coffee shop, lots of choice for different coffees, teas and hot chocolate. Good selection of cakes and biscuits. Sandwiches and toasties nice too. Lots of seats inside and out when the weather's decent. It gets busy at weekends but we usually manage to get a seat."
"A very disappointing visit, we had been recommended this coffee shop by various people so admittedly did have quite high expectations. The coffee was quite bland with no real character to make it stand out, this does mean it didn't have any major negatives but was just not a interesting cup of coffee. The skill of the barista was good, they did scorch the milk slightly making the drink thinner than it should have been but the latte art was good. The cake....omg...the cake, it was dreadful. The vegan banana loaf was the worst cake we have tasted in a long time, the overriding flavour was uncooked flour, it had a poor consistency leaving a very unpleasant mouth feel. We also sat upstairs, the building the shop is located in is awesome, just a shame that they haven't removed the massive cobwebs hanging over customers heads. Wont be rushing back."
