"If 4.5 stars was an option then it'd be that. Great food (looked slightly overcooked, but Tasted great), fantastic service; we had a couple of sharers between 4 and it was way too much, which is a great thing to be able to say. The cost seemed high, but about £30 for more than enough (including drinks) is good. The place itself could use some maintenance as things like the toilets were falling apart, but overall a great place to eat. And a definite return on the cards."
"Only one other table eating when we arrived mid-afternoon for our first visit to Tunch Kitchen on a lovely bank holiday Monday. We ordered the Turkish wine, which was gorgeous and were given some tasty, warm flatbreads with dips (one garlic and one chilli). We ordered from the set two course menu at £9.50 per person. Each of the meals were really delicious and portions sizes were quite big. We were offered more bread and dips with the main and were given a complementary dessert to share. Theo, our waiter, was brilliant and the decor and ambience were great. Will definitely be going back again very soon!"
"Great place for an afternoon lunch. Had bbq wings & calamari for starters both excellent. Lamb chops & chicken shish for main. Couple of beers & couple of G&Ts. Very reasonable prices."
"5 stars for 5 different reasons 1. Excellent food; great array of Turkish dishes for all. 2. Drinks; whether you drink caffeine or mocktail, they've got you covered. 3. Price; very reasonable and portions are generous too. I had the lunch menu and was do full, wasn't expecting to get much when I saw how cheap it was but I was pleasantly surprised 4. Atmosphere; very sweet rustic independent decor and nicely laid out tables too 5. Service; top notch service from the staff members and management, they'll make you feel so welcomed that you'll not wanna leave but definitely return"
"We're quite praise worthy with our visits but we generally didn't have a great experience here from the ambience to the food. The staff member did try to be jovial and attentive but from the beginning there were errors on or orders to the food. The flat bread tasted like ash and the chef's special was just cooked onions on a plate. I ordered calamari as my main but he brought it out as a starter. When told he said he'll just bring out the missing chips but I had to ask him to bring my mains out with my partner's and that I would actually like it hot. The calamari was really hard and the batter tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. My drink straw was also odd as two straws had been joined together to make it longer. We also had a mixed grill which was ok overall but the lamb tasted a bit off. The ribs were nice however."
