"This was second visit. My first was for sandwich and soup. Everything was lovely, and it was great to have a choice of chips, salad or soup with a sandwich. The soup is homemade and very hearty. We had a couple of drinks each and shared a very nice cheesecake with a twist. This time I went for the cheeseburger and they very kindly allowed me to swop the Fries for soup again. Again I was not disappointed. The burger was huge and very tasty aswell. The club sandwich my partner had was proper grilled chicken breast and was delicious. The staff were relaxed and friendly. Couldn't fault them. Will definitely be back."
"Went for Sunday lunch after a recommendation and was not disappointed. Food was excellent and service was quick and efficient. We had a view of the kitchen and it was fascinating watching the staff work so calmly. Will be going again."

"Nipped in for the obligatory pint while checking out the area house hunting. Lovely pub with friendly staff and test food was tasty. Only had a garlic bread but it was very tasty, we have eaten here before and remember it also being good. Not much in the way of cask ales (just 2) but love lane was also on and tasty as always. Nice outdoor area if the sun is out ☀️"
