"The atmosphere was lovely the staff were lovely sadly the food was a letdown it was warm and my partner chips were cold but he wouldn’t let me complain but it needs to be addressed and the katsu chicken was very dry with not enough sauce. And no dip for the popadoms I used tomato sauce."
"Really disappointed with my recent visit. It was a quiz night so all the tables were reserved. We shared a table with a friend. You could only order the food displayed on the printed menus/sheet if A4 paper on the table, which we did. However we were charged more than than the prices listed. We challenged this at the bar and was told that the prices were incorrect! No refund was offered. The food was just ok. The table was sticky and the glasses were not collected for several hours. The staff were all stressed but very nice. The whole pub certainly needs a refurb. Such a shame as was always a lovely pub."

"I've always rather liked the North Star - it's nothing fancy but it's comfortable, friendly service and good value for money especially for London. The food is good though I do wish there was one or two more interesting ciders as the choice is very limited on that. Plenty of parking and very convenient for the bus stop."
