Reviews
"I don't normally write reviews whether good or bad, but this experience definately warrants one. This is not a complaint about the food but more the staff's attitude. Recently (past 2months), I have noticed that their telephone number has been disconnected! The first time I encountered this, I had to walk in and placed the order which meant I HAD to wait for my pizza to be baked as I couldn't call ahead. I was told they had an issue with their telephone line. 2nd time I went almost 2 months later, I called the number again and same thing. So went into the shops to place my order. When I mentioned that I still cant call through, he stated the same issue again. I asked him how are they running a business if they can't sort out the phone number to allow customers to call ahead? Reasonable question right? The response was, we ARE busy because MOST of our customer's order through just-eat. I advised that I shouldn't have to go through a 3rd party website like just-eat and should be able to contact them directly over telephone. So as he is writing his mobile number down on a peice of paper, he tells me "if there is something you are not happy about like food, or something, you don't need to come here" - Bearing in mind he had charged me, knows that I've been going there regularly for a year. I told him the issue isn't about the quality of food (that's another comment!), but more that it is FRUSTRATING that we need to be kept waiting all because you have stopped paying your line rental for the contact number for your business! That's when I realised I care more about them running that place right than they do. Got my refund and walked out of there. Never tell a customer you don't need their custom as a knee-jerk reaction all because you can't listen to feedback or accept criticism. Shame! Food can be improved if the chef improves. But bad attitude and lack of customer service will alienate customer's who dared to complain!"
"I don’t usually write a review but I’m very disappointed as this place has gone completely downhill. I use to always order from here and the food was great before. But now it is not up to its standards like it was.. I ordered a pizza stuffed crust the sausage looked disgusting like pink colour! The pepperoni was really off putting i asked for garlic and herb stuffed crust they gave me normal stuffed crust. Baring in mind I paid extra for garlic and herb! The food was cold doughy and tasteless I threw it straight in the bin! They need to sort out ASAP otherwise they will lose a lot more customers !"
"Extremely good donor chicken kebab and decent wings, but the rest is anywhere between mediocre and bad. I'm from Italy so you're always going to struggle to please me with a pizza but I genuinely think the Halal pizzerias make the nastiest ones, the exceptions being the Halal Turkish/Middle Eastern pizzerias - because they make Turkish pizza or similar; not the American rubbish. Which tastes fantastic. But otherwise, 9/10 of you would lose to a frozen Iceland pizza on any given day of the week. Passable for the Brits who mostly don't know any better (despite the fact Pizza Del Sud is in Harrow, your competition is probably one of the best Italian pizzerias in the world; in fact not a single pizzeria from my home town of Bracciano is better than them) - but won't fly with me because well, I live round the corner from Pizza Del Sud. I'll be honest I'm not a lamb donor fan but I think it's one of better places for it in the area. The chicken shish is also very good from here, but I would avoid the lamb shish. Described on their menu as "tender cubes of skewered lamb" - I think you did one of two things. Either you served me old lamb, or your chef took a tenderizer to the lamb. It's definitely one of those two. The outside was mush and the inside was dry; which tells me straight away it was premade who knows when or your chef accelerated the marinating process by using a tenderizer, instead of making them every day and having them soak over night, which would naturally tenderize meat - and using a tenderizer on lamb fillet is the stupidest thing you can do because it's the most stunning, tender kind of meat you can have. Would I get chicken kebabs from here again? Absolutely, best in the area, competes with places like Stoby's on their best day, but Stoby's is far more inconsistent, I don't get any nasty fatty of grizzly bits from here, just tender slices of chicken with those lovely blackened edges that I think are mandatory on chicken donor meat. Also this places pricing is extremely good for the area. Some cries about their portion size but a large from here feeds me extremely well and is hard to finish."
"Ordered from here and the food came quickly and tasted pretty good and the delivery guy was very friendly. Then a few hours later I spent the entire night being violently sick and almost having to go to hospital from what we suspect was bad food poisoning. Avoid."
"Ordered from here last night for Eid for the first time, was a big order, multiple pizzas ( 4 Margaritas and 4 with chicken, olives and sweet corn ) and garlic bread, and the food was fantastic! Usually opt for a known branch like Dominos, but my brother insisted I go here and don’t think I’ll look back! Honestly everyone absolutely loved the food and I cannot recommend this enough."
