"Unfortunately they are not consistent with the standard of dishes they cook. I really enjoyed my first visit and the food was so good and tasted so fresh. Finally thought I had found a decent indian restaurant. Second visit was very disappointing with poppadoms tasting as if they had been cooked in old oil and the main had been hanging around for too long. Too much sauce and very little of everything else in the main. Swore not to go back but friends insisted I go with them as they had previously enjoyed a good meal there. Thought I should give them another try. We all left feeling dissatisfied with standard of food, swearing not to go back again. Not to forget we felt we had thrown our money away. A pity as staff are so friendly and efficient."
"Almost comically bad. Three waiting staff on a Friday night, one of whom was about 15. Top tip: carry a notepad so you can write down what people order. And ask what they want, rather than look shocked that people are wanting you to do so. It's called being a waiter. Dirty toilets are not a good advert for a clean restaurant. 1 hour wait for 2 main dishes and rice. Meanwhile delivery and takeaway food was flying out the door. Clearly that's the priority here. Large group on the table nearby still hadn't had their starter in that time. Food was ok but won't bother coming back. Expect it will shut down anyway soon and just be a takeaway."
"Polite staff but poor food quality & taste. Arrived as a group of 14 for christmas day meal. The place opened up 10 mins before our sitting. Rushed service, missing items and wrong drinks to start with. No poppadoms, starters were below average and the curries were watery & tasteless. Rushed through, leaving some of the party without food. Edible at best, and some meat unrecognisable. They actually did a better job with the turkey dinner. Dry christmas pudding with a neat brandy shot on top served with the bill and kicked out before we had coffee. Ruined christmas and the kids are still crying..."
"Tonight was our first ever vist to Purple Pakora Marple. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, infact I would say it is the best Biryani I have ever had, my husbands Rogan Josh was also very tasty. Definitely will be back."
"Great food, had takeaway for 8 people. Took a little longer than the app said but was worth the wait. Potions were decent and all enjoyed the variety"
