"Absolutely phenomenal. We came for the lunchtime menu. I had the sushi and shashimi. My wife had the katsu curry. It was fantastic. Service was quick and the server was very helpful. It was a true experience. One of which we both enjoyed immensely. Proper gem for Japanese sushi. Will definitely be coming back. If you are thinking about visiting, just do it! Thank you! Keep up the great work"
"Really good Sushi, we will often come here as opposed to Manchester as the Sushi is just that good. Service is always friendly, and the orders are always right. If you're about at the right time the lunchtime offer is great value for Sushi, but even without the lunch offer the menu is good value."
"We didn't make a reservation to have dinner here on the 26th January, but luckily there was no queue at 6.30pm and lots of tables available. Friendly greetings by the main waiter when we came into the door. The drinks and main menus were provided quickly. The drinks menu is limited. We had the pineapple juice in glass. Our two starters (octopus balls and chicken gyoza) came out at the same time, portions were satisfactory and tasted great! Our mains (Ramen) were well presented. However, the Ramen meant to have Japanese noodles but it was more like instant noodles and not fresh egg noodles. Which let it down, because the broth and the pork and prawns tasted absolutely delicious. We still had room for dessert and the waiter suggested the 4 flavoured ice cream filled mochi (coconut, mango, chocolate and green tea). No dessert menu was provided so we went with his suggestion. When they came out, there was no green tea flavoured. Instead we had 2 coconut, 1 chocolate and 1 mango mochi. A little disappointed but we enjoyed the ones we had nevertheless. Toilet facilities were upstairs (separate male and female) but you would need to climb 8 x4 steps to reach it. I do not know if there are any other facilities for customers with mobility problems. They do not provide a jug of water, but if you ask for water, they will give it in a glass per person. If you are not comfortable with using chopsticks, they will provide you with knives and forks. The cutleries are very pretty and Japanese oriented. The restaurant is warm with minimal decorations around the room."
"The dinner was excellent! You can taste their great efforts in the meals. Sushi salad is really fresh. My favourite is the tacoyaki (Octopus balls)! It’s different from the traditional Japanese making and I’m definitely buying their innovation! Moreover, you can definitely tell the soup is homemade rather than a ready done noodle stock from the taste of their udon and ramen soup. Both have come with generous amount of vegetables and mushrooms, which is definitely more than worthy for the price. We have been to many Japanese restaurants in U.K. and I think this is definitely worth your visiting."
"Everyone always starts with friendly staff, etc and yes they are with out doubt and they make the whole experience better explaining and recommending, we chose it for the Sushi but wanted a taster style menu to share, at the back of the menu there are three sizes we had the one for two persons see photo. I've been to places for Sushi before and not just chains and this was the best I've tasted. They travel to Billingsgate Market for the fish so that shows dedication to fresh and quality."
