At our school, we offer a variety of coding courses for kids of different levels. One of our popular courses is the Scratch Beginner coding course. This course consists of four levels, with 10 lessons per level, and covers 25 projects. The main goal of this course is to ensure that students grasp the fundamentals of coding and are able to create their own simple programs. Throughout the course, students will create video games like Pong, Breakout, Slither.io, Fruit Ninja, as well as develop animations and cartoons. Using the block-based coding language Scratch, developed by MIT Media Lab, students will learn important computer science concepts and coding terminology such as loops, conditionals, and variables. Our instructors closely guide the students through the creation of these projects, while also encouraging them to work independently. Additionally, students have access to an online programming environment with endless study materials, allowing them to further enhance their coding skills outside of the classroom. By the end of the Scratch Beginner coding course, students will have a solid understanding of loops, conditionals, and variables, and will be able to independently code simple software projects. To track their progress, all students will undergo a formal assessment and parents will receive individual reports outlining their child's achievements.
