Duncraig Early Learning Centre
● OpenWelcome to Duncraig Early Learning Centre, a community-based establishment located at 43 Beddi Road in Duncraig, Australia. Our centre has been serving families since its opening on June 8th, 1985. We are proud to be run by a dedicated parent and community management committee, ensuring that our centre meets the needs of our families. Operating under the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012, we are licensed to accommodate up to 47 children per day. However, our journey has not been without challenges. In 2002, we faced extensive fire damage, suspected to be arson. Just as we were preparing to reopen after this incident, our centre was tragically gutted by fire for the second time in six months. It was not until June 2004 that we were able to resume our services in Duncraig, after relocating temporarily to an old Child Care Centre in Balcatta.

At Tuart Hill Community Kindergarten, we believe that play is not just a form of entertainment, but a crucial part of a child's intellectual growth and development. As Neville V Scarfe, a renowned author and education reformer, once said, "All play is associated with intense thought activity and rapid intellectual growth. The highest form of research is essentially play." We strive to create an environment where children can engage in play-based activities that stimulate their curiosity, foster their creativity, and ignite their love for learning.
