Since our formation in May 1989, we have been dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the critically endangered Victorian bird emblem, the Helmeted Honeyeater. At that time, the population of these magnificent birds had plummeted to a critically low level of just 50 individuals. Recognizing the urgent need for action, we came together as a community to protect and safeguard this unique species.
