Our founder, Greg, grew up surrounded by the sea, learning the art of fishing from his Greek Dad and Grandfather on their commercial fishing boat. During school holidays, Greg could be found behind the counter at his family's fish and chip shop, carrying on the legacy. Greg's Dad, a seafood-lover, was well-known at the Melbourne Fish Market for his friendly demeanor. When Hunky Dory opened its doors in 2004, Greg's family stood by his side, proudly wearing Hunkys t-shirts. In fact, Greg's Grandfather continued to rock his t-shirt in-store until he was 91!
