Welcome to the Mount Eliza Country Club, located at 32 Old Mornington Road in Australia. Established in 1956, our club has a rich history and continues to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors alike. Our story begins with a group of local businessmen who had been meeting at Sir Edgar Coles’ property, Hendra, on Old Mornington Road since 1952. As the group grew over the years, it became necessary to find a new location for their social activities. In 1956, Sir Edgar Coles and Sir Reginald Ansett purchased the current property from the Allfrey family, and with the support of their well-resourced patrons, were able to obtain a unique liquor license to create the Mount Eliza Country Club.
