We understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, which is why our machines are regularly washed and sanitized. The clean rinse water, which is not recycled, is used in every wash cycle at least twice. Our dedicated cleaners also perform routine sanitizing and extra hot wash cycles if necessary, ensuring that our machines are always in top condition.

We are often asked if Feather/Down Duvets can be washed at Liquid Laundromats. The answer is yes! We recommend using a minimum 18kg Washer and checking the care label first. Most feather duvets can be washed on either a Gentle Warm Cycle or a Normal Warm Cycle. For drying, our dryers on High Temperature are suitable, and we suggest adding two clean tennis balls to help break up the feathers/down and facilitate drying.

We understand that different fabrics require different temperatures for washing. Our laundromats offer a range of temperature options, including Cold/Woollens/Delicate cycles (less than 15 °C), Warm cycles (less than 40 °C), and Hot cycles (less than 65 °C). Please always check the care label first to ensure the appropriate temperature is selected.

For our customers with furry friends, we have dedicated animal blanket machines available at many of our locations. These 28kg super large washers have special Pet Blanket Wash Cycles, which include extra pre-wash and rinse steps. These heavy-duty wash cycles can also be used for extra dirty laundry. If you need to use bleach to wash your duvets, please check the care label first. Up to a cup of bleach can be used, but only if the duvet filling is feather or down (not wool). To be safe, we recommend using the Warm Gentle Wash Cycle, or if you're willing to take some risk, you can opt for the Hot Wash Cycle.

For wool items, such as wool filled duvets or woolrests, we recommend using a minimum 18kg Washer and checking the care label first. These items can be washed on the Cold Gentle Wash Cycle, but they cannot be tumble dried. They need to be air dried, preferably laid flat.
