We take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our machines. Our washers are regularly cleaned, and the clean rinse water, which is not recycled, is used in every wash cycle at least twice. Our dedicated cleaners also conduct routine sanitizing and extra hot wash cycles if required, ensuring that your laundry is done in a clean and hygienic environment.

Worried about washing your feather or down duvets? No problem! Our washers can handle these delicate items. Just make sure to use a minimum 18kg washer and check the care label first. Most feather duvets can be washed on a gentle warm cycle or normal warm cycle and can be dried in our dryers on high temperature. To aid in drying, we recommend adding 2 clean tennis balls to help break up the feathers.

Curious about the temperature settings of our machines? We have different temperature options for various cycles. As a guide, our cold/woollens/delicate cycles are less than 15°C, warm cycles are less than 40°C, and hot cycles are less than 65°C. Please note that the temperature displayed on the washers is only an indication for hot cycles. The hot water heaters are set for at least 75°C, ensuring that the water reaching the machines is at least 60°C. The washers do not have heaters in them, so the temperature may vary depending on the distance from the hot water heaters and the room temperature.

We understand that pets are part of the family too. That's why many of our laundromats have dedicated animal blanket washers. These 28kg super large washers have special pet blanket wash cycles, including extra pre-wash and rinse steps. These heavy-duty wash cycles can also be used for extra dirty laundry. Please check our website's locations page to see if your nearest laundromat has one available.

If you need to use bleach to wash your duvets, please check the care label first. Up to a cup of bleach can be used, but only if the duvet filling is feather or down (not wool). For safety, make sure to use a warm gentle wash cycle or, if you're comfortable taking some risk, use a hot wash cycle.

Wool items require special care. They can be washed on cycle 5 - cold gentle wash, but they cannot be tumble dried. It's best to air dry them and dry them flat if possible.

For those with wool-filled duvets or woolrests, you can wash them in our minimum 18kg washer. However, it's crucial to only use a gentle cold cycle, as these items cannot be dried. They must be air dried only.
