In fact, the clean rinse water, which is not recycled, is used in every wash cycle at least twice. Our dedicated team of cleaners also carries out routine sanitizing and extra hot wash cycles of the machines, if required.

We strive to accommodate all your laundry needs, including special items such as feather and down duvets. You can use a minimum 18kg washer for washing these duvets, but we recommend checking the care label first. Most feather duvets can be washed on a gentle warm cycle or normal warm cycle and can be dried in our dryers on a high temperature. To aid in the drying process, we suggest placing 2 clean tennis balls in the dryer as they help break up the feathers or down.

The temperature settings in our laundromats vary depending on the cycles. As a general guide, the cold/woollens/delicate cycles are less than 15°C, warm cycles are less than 40°C, and hot cycles are less than 65°C. Please note that the temperature displayed on the washers is only an indication for the hot cycles. The hot water heaters are set for at least 75°C, so by the time the water reaches the machine, it would be at least 60°C. The temperature in the washers is variable based on the distance from the hot water heaters and the room temperature.

For our customers with furry friends, we have dedicated animal blanket machines available. These machines are equipped with special pet blanket wash cycles and can handle heavy-duty washing. They have additional pre-wash and rinse steps to ensure thorough cleaning. Please check our website's locations page to see if your nearest laundromat has this facility.

If you need to use bleach for washing duvets, please check the care label first. Up to a cup of bleach can be used, but only if the duvet filling is feather or down (not wool). For safety, it is recommended to use a warm gentle wash cycle, or if you prefer to take some risk, you can use the hot wash cycle.

Wool items can be washed on cycle 5, which is a cold gentle wash. However, they cannot be tumble dried and need to be air dried. It is best to dry them flat if possible.

For wool-filled duvets or woolrests, please check the care label first. Most of these special filled duvets can be washed, but it is crucial to wash them only on a gentle cold cycle. These items cannot be dried and need to be air dried only.
