To get started, we will collect your details and arrange a time for the installation of your interlock at your nearest service center. Typically, we can have an alcohol interlock installed in your vehicle within 1-2 days.

An alcohol interlock is a breathalyzer device that is wired into your car's ignition. It records every start, stop, test result, violation, and kilometers driven, generating a comprehensive report for authorities to view.

Before starting your vehicle, you will need to provide an alcohol-free breath sample. Once you pass the test, you can proceed to start your vehicle. While driving, the interlock will randomly call for tests that must be taken to ensure sobriety. Failure to comply will be considered a violation.

On a monthly basis, you will need to take your vehicle back to a service center for data downloading and interlock calibration. This process takes approximately 15 minutes, and the monthly payment is made at the time of service.

To ensure accurate self-testing, we recommend using a personal breathalyzer. This allows you to check your alcohol level before blowing into your interlock, preventing potential violations.

For those eligible for the alcohol interlock subsidy, the monthly lease cost is only $149. This subsidy covers the alcohol interlock license, installation, $50 per month towards the lease, removal, and the zero alcohol license at the end of the program. If you are not eligible for the subsidy, the standard pricing is $199 per month, with additional fees for installation and removal.

When getting your interlock installed, you will need to pay the installation fee and your first monthly lease to the service center. Please note that additional fees may apply if the program requirements are not adhered to.

The interlock device is similar in appearance to a breathalyzer and is attached to your vehicle. It is approximately the size of your hand and can be mounted on a clip on your dashboard or stored near your gear lever. It does not need to be visible to anyone outside your vehicle.

Rest assured that the interlock unit is only connected to the wiring under the dash and bonnet of your vehicle. At the end of the program, the wiring is restored to its pre-installation conditions.
