Got feather or down duvets that need cleaning? Our 18kg washers are perfect for the job. Before washing, be sure to check the care label for instructions. Most feather duvets can be washed on a Gentle Warm or Normal Warm cycle and dried in our dryers on High Temperature. To aid in drying, we recommend adding 2 clean tennis balls to help break up the feathers.

Concerned about the temperature of our washers and dryers? Our hot wash cycle reaches a maximum temperature of 60-65 degrees, while our dryers operate at a high temperature of 87 degrees. However, please always refer to your care label for specific temperature requirements.

We also cater to our furry friends with dedicated animal blanket machines. Many of our laundromats have specially designed 28kg washers with Pet Blanket Wash Cycles. These heavy-duty cycles include extra pre-wash and rinse steps, ensuring a thorough clean for your pet's blankets. If you need to use bleach for washing your duvets, please check the care label first. Feather or down-filled duvets can handle up to a cup of bleach, but make sure to use a Warm Gentle wash cycle for safety. Wool items, on the other hand, should be washed on a Cold Gentle cycle and air-dried flat.

For wool filled duvets or Woolrests, use our minimum 18kg washer and again, check the care label first. These items should only be washed on a Gentle Cold cycle and air-dried. They cannot be dried in our dryers.
