Our mission is to provide top-quality after school care at an affordable price, regardless of who your child is. We believe in equipping children with the skills they need for the future. That's why our regular program includes activities such as cooking, baking, sewing, building, and problem-solving. We encourage children to take responsibility and step up in their own lives.

In addition to these educational activities, we also understand the importance of physical activity and inclusion. Our program includes games, team sports, and team-building activities to build physical confidence, teach teamwork, and, most importantly, have fun!

We know that children can get tired at the end of the day, and it can be challenging to fit everything in, including homework. That's why at Te Kaha Kids, we offer homework assistance to help your child get a head start, so you can enjoy precious family time together.

Our founder, Petra, is passionate about inclusive care and programs for children and adults with and without disabilities. She holds a Diploma in Social Services specializing in Disability Support, as well as a Diploma in Child Protection. Cleve, Petra's partner, shares her love for children and is always ready to join in the fun. While Cleve primarily works off-site, he occasionally pops in during the holidays to lend a helping hand.
