"Service was the worst of all banks during lockdown and has barely improved since then. I keep being told, incorrectly, that they have better hours than other banks and during the Christmas/New Year period they only opened part-time for 2 days between 24 Dec and 11 Jan. Staff are unhelpful and charge a $5 service fee to people who are not BNZ customers. Other banks don't do this. And my BNZ ATM card is illegible - who came up with white embossed numbers on a white background!"
