About the Business
Welcome to Taieri Parents Centre, located at 17 Green Street, Mosgiel, New Zealand. Our establishment is a point of interest and store that is dedicated to providing support and resources for parents and their little ones.
As the colder months approach, it's important to ensure that your baby is dressed appropriately to maintain their health. Babies have a less efficient ability to regulate their body temperature compared to adults, so it's crucial to dress them adequately to keep them warm and safe.
We understand that welcoming a new baby into the world is an exciting and joyous time for parents. Safety, especially when it comes to water, should be a top priority. The first bath is a significant milestone, and we provide simple water safety tips to create a safe and enjoyable experience for both parents and babies.
If you are giving birth in a hospital or birthing center, it is essential to have a car seat to ensure a safe journey home for your baby. We recommend practicing fitting your car seat before the birth to ensure it is properly installed.
During pregnancy and after giving birth, you may find yourself bombarded with advice from well-meaning friends and family. However, it's important to remember that everyone's parenting journey is unique, and not all advice may align with your own beliefs and choices. We aim to provide clarity and support amidst the confusion, so you can confidently navigate your parenting journey.
While the focus leading up to the birth of your baby is often centered around the labor and delivery, it's important to recognize that the birth experience is just the beginning. Without a guidebook or intervention, parents are left to navigate the challenges of raising a child. We offer resources and guidance to help you navigate this new chapter in your life.
Your baby's hearing is delicate and more susceptible to hearing loss compared to adults. The muscles that protect their hearing are not fully developed, making it crucial to protect their ears from excessive noise. We provide information on how to maintain a healthy sound environment for your baby.
In Te Ao Māori, health is understood through the concept of Te Whare Tapa Whā, symbolizing the four dimensions of wellbeing. We respect and acknowledge the customs, cultural practices, and beliefs of tangata whenua during hapūtanga and whakawhānau. We strive to support the physical, spiritual, family, and mental wellbeing of parents and their whānau.
While having a baby is often portrayed as a wonderful experience, the reality is that many women face challenges in regaining strength and function after childbirth. We offer support and resources to help women navigate the physical and emotional aspects of postpartum recovery.
At Taieri Parents Centre, we believe that being a father and a husband is the most important job in life. It is crucial to prioritize self-care, both physically and mentally, to ensure that you can be the best parent and partner possible.
We are dedicated to protecting and advocating for excellent outcomes for parents and their whānau. Our united vision is to achieve the best possible outcomes for parents and their families. We strive to foster a respectful and generous community, both towards each other and the whānau we support.
Join us at Taieri Parents Centre and let us support you on your parenting journey. Together, we can create a safe and nurturing environment for you and your little ones.

"Awesome wee venue for children's partys. Attended granddaughters 2and birthday today. Completely child friendly, loads of toys, plenty of room with indoor outdoor flow. Nice and roomy. Good parking. Kitchen facilities great."
"Top spot for kids parties"
"We hosted my little sister's first birthday here and it was great! Plenty of space for everyone (1st pic), room outside for kids to play, and a handy little kitchen to prepare everything (2nd pic). It was well equipped to deal with a bunch of toddlers, having lots of toys and kids equipment (3rd pic), and had cleaning supplies available, which is a must for a kids party! Everyone had a great time, it's a very versatile little building! No parking lot, but plenty of parks on the street so no sweat."
