Welcome to Mosgiel Playcentre, located at 79 Argyle Street in Mosgiel, New Zealand. We are a unique early childhood education institution that welcomes both children and their parents or caregivers.

At Mosgiel Playcentre, children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki, allowing them to learn about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have the chance to engage in a wide range of activities, including exploring, creating, climbing, reading, singing, experimenting, playing music, dressing up in costumes, face painting, gardening, carpentry with real tools, baking and cooking, building sandcastles, swinging, sliding, dancing, spending time in nature, and getting messy! Our activities change every day, ensuring that there is always something new and exciting to discover.

One of the unique aspects of Mosgiel Playcentre is that our parents bring different skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, which adds to the rich learning environment. We welcome families with children aged 0 to 6 years, and our mixed age play allows children to engage with others who are both older and younger than themselves. This provides valuable opportunities for pre-schoolers to learn how to communicate, share, and negotiate with empathy for their younger peers.

At Mosgiel Playcentre, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed. We encourage you to visit us at any time during the year. As a new visitor, you are entitled to three free visits, so come and check out what we do. We would love to meet you and your family!
