Our process involves palletizing, strapping, and shrink-wrapping the batteries before delivering them to Dominion Trading. From there, the batteries are containerized, exported, and shipped to battery smelters in compliance with the international BASIL Agreement. This process allows us to recover approximately 98% of the old battery for recycling. The lead is re-smeltered, the plastic is chipped and remolded, and the acid is reused, all contributing to the creation of new batteries.
