At Restore, we believe in supporting our local community, and there are three ways you can get involved: shop, donate, and volunteer. By shopping at our store, you can find quality goods at affordable prices while also supporting our mission to provide housing help to families in need. Every purchase you make goes towards making a difference in someone's life.

If you have quality goods that you no longer need, consider donating them to Habitat ReStore. We may even be able to arrange a collection directly from your home, within certain area limits. Volunteering is another way you can support our cause. By giving just a few hours of your time each week, you can help us run our second-hand shop and contribute to our housing projects. We have flexible hours and a variety of roles to suit your interests and skills. Whether you enjoy customer service, organizing merchandise, or assisting with general operations, we have a place for you. Please note that there are certain items we cannot accept for donation due to safety or quality concerns. These include gas appliances, kerosene appliances, built-in appliances, large household items with rust or without a power cord, chemicals, pianos and organs, children’s car seats, children’s inflatable toys for water, bike and safety helmets, life jackets, buoyancy aids, TVs older than 5 years, large console model TVs and stereos, electric blankets, weapons, oil lamps, home recorded CDs, DVDs, VHS, and cassette tapes, CRT monitors, and furniture and mattresses with damage or mold. Restore is operated by Habitat for Humanity New Zealand, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to eliminating sub-standard housing.
