With 35 rest home and hospital beds, our philosophy at Kenwyn is to create a home-like environment where both residents and their families can feel comfortable and relaxed. Being a small home allows us to truly get to know each individual, enabling us to provide personalized and high-quality care within a family atmosphere.

Our team enjoys their work and shares laughter with both each other and the residents. Residents at Kenwyn have the option to enjoy a private or shared room, and we encourage everyone to bring personal belongings and furniture to make their space feel like home. Our dedicated staff is available 24/7, with registered Nurses and carers who have undergone NZQA training. Training is provided in the home throughout the day, ensuring that our staff is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible.

Medical support is readily available through the Tokoroa Medical Centre, and our own Clinical Operations Manager, Katherine McLeod, oversees care management. In addition to the excellent care provided, Kenwyn also offers a range of regular activities and outings, managed by our dedicated Activities Coordinators. We believe it is important for residents to stay active and engaged.
